XBOX.COM & XBL are up & running again, with a new '360' look - it'll be a couple of days until the 'my xbox' feature is on-line though - then we can tinker with our gamercards.

Monday October 24th
2 newish videos - 'Talking Smack on XBOX Live' (in various section) and a Midship CTF commentary (neither of which are our creations, but I thought they would make good additions to the site).
Got 3 new xb360 vids of Madden '06 (vid2 & vid3 - new stadiums look great btw) & a large Amped 3 video (vid2) in my 360 page.
The big XBL upgrade is going on right now - should be finished by later this evening...after that xbox.com will be totoally upgraded and then in a few days, 'my xbox' will be available, including setting up your gamerzone and gamer tiles etc, ready for the 360.
Major Nelson (XBL Director of Programming) has released show #149, 3 interviews + other xbox, xbl & xb360 news - find it in the audio section of the halo page....worth checking out for news of the XBOX.COM upgrades, inc the great new 'my xbox' features.....Microsoft really has got it going on, compared to sony's virtually stone-aged approach to on-line gaming & media intergration.
I pre-ordered 4 xb360 games this weekend - PRG3, COD2, Kameo & PDZ (even tho' you can't jump!).
btw - here's another cool example of the media integration of the xb360 - I can be watching a movie & one of my friends can be playing a game & we can still have a xbl voice chat....sweet......one other thing, you can also just use the new remote control to play some of the xbl arcade games (coz it has the A,B,X,Y buttons).... + turn the console off & on too.

Added 360 hacker to the links on the left. It always been a good & informative website maintained by a 360 enthusiast - that can string a sentence together too. Check out his latest to-the-point hands-on reviews of some 360 games that he played recently (he gives 'Condemned' top honors).
If this isn't newsworthy, then I don't know what is...The Halo player who has played the most games to date (his identity will remain secret in order to protect his job) has played a staggering, mind-boggling 14,919 games, spending an average of six hours per day, and playing around 71 games. Per day. Now that guy is a freak. Seriously.

I also hope to work on the Halo 2 tips section this week....I need them more than anyone following some recent spankings on XBL.
