Tuesday May 9th

PS3 Pricing & Launch Date
The PS3 will launch on November 17 2006 in the US. For a 20 gig unit you will have to pay $499. For the 60 gig they will charge $599

....hmmm, does that also mean that we'll get Halo 3 on 11/17 too ? - coz Mr. Gates has previously hinted that they'll counter Sony's launch with the next Halo.

Monday May 8th

E3 content for the 360
Just a reminder for you 360 owners - there will be a lot of new content this week on the Marketplace stemming from the E3 show - including demos of Test Drive Unlimited (today) and Lost Planet (tomorrow).

+ There's supposed to be a 2 minute Halo 3 video shown at the show, so as soon as I find it, I'll post it.

I'll also be putting the vids from this weekend's bash at cool eddie's crib on the site in the next few days - I'm currently testing out the video output formats and sizes, trying to keep the file size down on some of the longer ones while keeping them watchable.

New name for Revolution.
Nintendo announced today that they have finally chosen a name for their upcoming video game console. The new console, previously codenamed Revolution, is called “Wii”, pronounced as “We”.
