Well - I hope you all have a good Christmas, or Kwanza or whatever the latest BS is. I gave the 360 a good workout, playing Kong, Condemned, Gun and the XBOX Live Arcade (namely Zuma, Pool & Mutant Storm)....that's why I haven't blogged here recently.
Mr. Bruley recently announced his H2 tourney...so that should be fun - place your bets now as to who's gonna win & who's gonna own. :) See the guestbook for updates and his email address.
Anyway, not much going on in the Halo 2 world apart from playlist updates etc....I haven't recorded any new vids coz my 360 is running through the high def inputs and my capture box doesn't use those kind. I've still got my XBOX 1, but it's not currently set up through the video recording equipment - will be again soon though.
Re. the 360 - not much great coming out in the next few weeks. DOA4 (Dec 28th) is cool if you're into those kinda games (I'm undecided about that one).
The next interesting titles coming along for the 360 will be:
Alan Wake (January)
Lost Odyssey (Jan)
Test Drive (Jan)
Frame City Killer (Feb 7th)
Full Auto (Feb 14th)
Saint's Row (Mar 1st)
Elder Scrolls 4 (Mar 20th)
With Gears of War, Ghost Recon, Battlefield 2 & Prey following close behind.
Roll on 2006 - the year of the next gens (and maybe Halo 3).

Not too many updates to the site recently - been heavy into playing on the 360 (surprise surprise) and not had much time after work.
As far as news goes, there's been tons of it flying around the web re. the 360 - some good, some bad, most BS (of course).
The bottom line is that, in my opinion, Microsoft has made a truely great system that is powerful, capable, and most importantly
(compared to the PS3's overly-complex architecture and unproven blu-ray) relatively easy to develop for (key for it's future prospects).
Don't misunderstand me, I am not a Sony/PS3 hater/basher and I intend to get one if it has the games that I might like, but the 360 is HERE and the PS3 isn't even close to being in the hands of developers....there is absolutely no point comparing the hardware capabilities of the 2 consoles - all you need to compare is the games that run on them. Yes, I said games, not pre-rendered BS videos (you know which ones I'm talking about).
I could go on for ages talking about how well designed the 360 dashboard is and how much I like the new wireless controllers + a whole bunch of other stuff but I'll leave that to the many reviews out on the web.
I'm also looking forward to the Revolution and it looks likely to appear prior to the PS3 and will not doubt offer a fresh approach to videogaming.
Posted 5 new Podtacular shows (including Colossus map tips) in the Halo 2 audio section.
I'll be fleshing out and re-structuring the 360 page soon to include a full complement of game reviews and also my own gameplay videos of my 4 games: PDZ, PGR3, CoD2 & Kameo.
Be sure to check out mine and Noles' gamercard on the 360 page to see what we've been playing.
I'm also working on the tips section at the bottom of the Halo page to include tips for every map, gametype, vehicle and weapon.....remember this site is for you folks, so let me know via the guestbook what you think of it so far and what you'd like to see.
